A step by step overview of the erection of a single Bauhu Cube 6m x 2.4m module to Part L compliance with UK building regulations for stand-alone use or for integration into a complex building. Complex, cost effective buildings can be configured very quickly by joining Cubes together side by side or end to end, or by stacking them to create two or even three story buildings. Bauhu 'Cubes' can be used for a multitude of different applications both domestic and commercial.

Cube modules have 80mm Rockwool core insulated wall panels which provide sufficient levels of insulation for many applications. Part L compliant cube modules have a secondary, ventilated insulation layer applied to the exterior of the building and a further layer to encase the structural steel frame preventing any thermal transfer through the building envelope and providing the highest levels of thermal efficiency. Cube modules can be finished in a variety of external cladding finishes. Composite boards, horizontal cement board planking or real cedar cladding as shown below.
Insulated SIP panels form the overhanging roof of the building covered with a Firestone EPDM waterproofing membrane.

Internal walls are coated and finished in paint. Flooring options include a high quality vinyl floor finish and lighting is provided by ultra-thin LED light sheets providing a near daylight lighting effect throughout the building.
UPVC ‘A’ rated double glazed units to customers colour choice. Design subject to energy efficiency report. Glass to be laminated/toughened to usage compliance.
